Glossary

Plain-language definitions of bonding curve, slippage, MEV, Bubble Breaker hops, burner wallet, and more.

Short, plain-language definitions of terms used across this documentation.

Bonding curve

A pricing rule where a token’s price changes as people buy and sell. On Pump.fun, early buys are cheaper and the price rises as more is bought.

Slippage

The difference between the price you expect and the price you actually get. You set a slippage limit so a trade is rejected if the price moves too far against you.

MEV

Value that others can extract by reordering or inserting transactions around yours, often by front-running. Protected submission reduces this risk.

Front-running and sandwiching

Front-running is when a bot acts on your pending trade before it lands. A sandwich wraps your trade with a buy before and a sell after to profit at your expense.

Bundle

A way of submitting a trade so it is harder for bots to see and exploit before it executes, used for MEV protection.

Burner wallet

A throwaway wallet you create for testing or one-off use, so your main wallet is never exposed to new software.

Hop

One transfer step in Bubble Breaker. Funds move through a chain of hops to make the path harder to trace.

Branch

A parallel path in Bubble Breaker. More branches split funds across more routes, making source and destination harder to match.

Rollback

Returning funds from Bubble Breaker’s temporary wallets back to your source wallet if a run fails or you change your mind.

Self-hosted

Software that runs entirely on your own machine rather than on someone else’s server. Your keys and data stay with you.

Master password

The password that unlocks your encrypted vault. It is never stored anywhere and is required to use your wallets.
