Your first safe trade

Generate a burner wallet, fund it with a small amount, and run a test trade before risking real funds.

Before you trust any new software with real money, test it. This page walks you through a safe first run using a fresh burner wallet and a tiny amount of SOL. The rule is simple: don’t trust, verify.

Where to find it

You will use the Wallets page to create and fund a wallet, then the trading or Bubble Breaker module to run the test. Each has its own scenario page if you want more detail.

How it works

Create a burner wallet

Open the Wallets page and generate a new wallet. Never use your main wallet to try new software. A burner wallet exists only for this test, so nothing important is at risk.

Fund it with a small amount

Send a small amount, around 0.05 SOL, to the burner wallet. This is enough to cover a test trade and the network fee, and small enough that a mistake costs almost nothing.

Run a test action

Try one small action: a single buy on the trading page, or a short session in Bubble Breaker. Watch what the app does, follow the status, and confirm the result on-chain.

Verify the outcome

Check that balances changed as you expected and that the transaction landed. Once you are comfortable with how the app behaves, you can scale up to real amounts and bulk operations.

Safety behaviours

  • Burner-first by design: you can generate fresh wallets inside the app at any time, so you never have to expose a main wallet.
  • Small amounts limit risk: a 0.05 SOL test caps your downside while you learn the workflow.
  • You stay in control: every action is initiated by you and visible on-chain.

Good practices

  • Generate a new burner wallet for testing rather than importing an existing one.
  • Start with one small action before running anything in bulk.
  • Verify results on-chain before you commit larger amounts.
  • Use Merlin Guild only for lawful purposes; you are responsible for how you use it.
